Life is so crazy right now. I am truly missing fourth grade and don't really know how I'm going to be able to finish out the rest of this year in prek. Don't get me wrong, I am so thankful for my job and being given the opportunity to be closer to home, but this is not the grade for me. I'm sure someone else out there is feeling the same way! I have all this knowledge of the Common Core and how to use it in so many ways, yet I feel that my brain power is being wasted. Please forgive me all you prek teachers out there. I'm not trying to offend any one at all! Let me just tip my hat to all of you out there because I have no idea how in the world you all do it. You have so much patience and more marbles than I have. On top of that, there is no way in this world I can have this grade and have my very own house full of toddlers, which is what is happening to me now! There are no breaks for this teacher-mom. I am truly meant to be a teacher of ten year olds and I can't wait to be given the opportunity, hopefully soon, to fill those shoes.
So, now that I have vented, I have this great idea and I'm going crazy with it!!! I have the fourth grade product up and ready so feel free to check it out by clicking here!!! I've loaded the ELA packet for kindergarten for FREE!!! I really hope this ends up being used in your classroom!! Enjoy and feel free to leave me some positive feedback! I really appreciate it!

Disney Princess Costume Ideas
Tuesday, October 20, 2015
I absolutely love disney princesses and I am giddy with excitement each year when it's time to dress up for a story book character or for Halloween. So here are some ideas that are easy for you to put together and a great way to save money. I've tried to include each disney princess, I hope these help! J
Just a side note, I'm going to be minnie mouse this year. I know it's not a disney princess, but I just had to. I purchased a fifties style red and white polka dot dress, found a petticoat to make it poof up and put my mustard colored flats with it. Oh, and don't forget the ears I created myself with some black felt and an old headband I wasn't using. It's that simple.
With all of the ideas below, you can simply use clothes you may possibly already own or you can add to your wardrobe and still wear the clothing throughout the school year!

Cinderella
Simple and to the point. I would definitely go with flats unless you like to live on the wild side.
Love and so simple!
I'd go with a longer bottom here, but aren't those yellow converse just the cutest?
Aurora
I'd go with a longer dress, but love the pinks!
Love this one, but a longer dress is important when teaching unless you don't bend over all day.
Here's an entire page of outfit ideas for each princess!!!
I'll be adding to my list of disney princess costumes/outfit ideas for teachers!! I hope you all enjoy the ideas I gathered for you!
Have a great Halloween at your school!!!

So I've been getting crafty on myself and creating fonts that I just absolutely adore! So I worked to get the fonts I've created so far into a Free download at my TpT store. Yes, that's right! A free download for you to use for your personal crafts!! I hope you love them! TpT Tips: Increasing Sales
Saturday, September 12, 2015
Wow!! It's been a long, long time! So how did everyone's summer go? Hopefully, it went very well! I spent mine creating a handful of new products and a lot of bundles, bundles, bundles! And I also welcomed a little Bundle of joy this summer, my first baby girl, EmmaKate. I know, such an adorable, southern name. I just love it.
So, back to the tips. I can tell you I've really improved my sales since creating bundles for some of my most popular items. Create bundles and create lot's of them! Buyers, especially teachers, love, love, love things on sale! I know I do! Here's two examples of my cover pages for my bundles! They were so fun to make! I just love to create things that are popping!

One last random tip I would like to give is this. I had a few buyers ask for particular things, such as a poster here or a poster there and I started to realize I was doing a lot of extra work for free. Well, I decided it was worth it to create listings for custom orders so I did and it is going so much better! Click the image below to see my listing!
I hope all of this helps!!!! Good luck with your TpT store!!!

Grow your TpT with Store Improvements
Tuesday, June 16, 2015
So you've had your TpT store for several years now and this summer you just don't feel the ideas flowing for new product lines. That's okay. Don't panic until next summer, at least. This summer, simply focus on your marketing strategies and how presentable your store looks.
SELLER TIP #1: Making your store attractive
So, first off, you want your store to be eye catching because when a buyer lands on your page, you want them to look at your products and mosey around for a bit. This will likely lead to a sell. I started with my banner. I'm a chalkboard kind of girl with pinks and teals, just basically anything girly. This banner is just perfect for my store and it goes along with my blogger theme (we'll talk blogger in a few). The next things I did were to make sure that the products I placed at the top as featured were attractive and had either good ratings or none at all if they were new. A lot of my products featured in my store at the moment are new so they don't have ratings and that's okay! This is a picture of my banner I created. It's just me. Make sure the banner you create fits your style and not someone else's.
The next things I have been working on this summer are making over some of my cover pages. I have joined the TpT {seller} Makeover challenge and it really got me hopping. I took a minute to look through my store and found some products that just weren't pretty and gave them a makeover! As you can see, I got a little carried away. I've also made over a few more, but I couldn't help myself.

Last, but not least your store categories. Make sure they are organized and easy to follow. I cleared some of mine out, rearranged some products and deleted a few categories that had absolutely nothing in them. To modify these, you need to hover over "My TpT" and click on "Product Listings". This will allow you to see your categories on the left with a "MANAGE YOUR CATEGORIES" link. Easy as pie.
I hope these tips will help you in making your store more attractive!
Have a great day!
